PVD COATING
PVD COATING PROCESS
PVD coating is take place in a vacuum chamber. Titanium / Titanium Aluminium / Chromium is vaporised by means of multi arc or magnetron sputtering. The positively charged Titanium / Titanium Aluminium / Chromium ions are mixed with nitrogen or argon gas to form a plasma. The positively charged Titanium / Titanium Aluminium / Chrominium plasma is attracted to the negatively charged workpiece, thereby forming a coating on the workpiece. The PVD coating exhibits unprecedented toughness, lubricity, uniformity, and is chemically more stable in comparison to the traditional ion plating method.
